Monica Greco is GCMU’s Chief of Staff, working across all of GCMU’s areas of work.

Monica joins GCMU from Open Society Foundations where she led work on topics including digital public infrastructure, digital rights, refugees, migration and local government as well as priority and emergency initiatives. Throughout her career in the US and the Middle East, she has built new organizations, companies and initiatives. Monica holds a B.A. from Princeton University and a M.Sc. from the University of Oxford and was a Fulbright fellow and a visiting fellow at Princeton’s Center for Information Technology Policy. She is located in New York City.
